Crowdfund?
Why crowdfund a private business? You've got a good point, we've covered 99% of the start up costs for the brewery, however, starting a brewery has been described to us as a bad onion, once you pull back a layer, it's rotten and just keeps going. There's no boiler-plate way to open a brewery, especially rural Nebraska. Plus, the Federal permit process can take anywhere from six to eighteen months. To even apply we had to be a day away from opening, we had to have equipment purchased, lease signed and be fully incorporated; then wait six months to see if we can brew beer. We would certainly appreciate any help bringing this placemaking establishment to life.
